Halloween 2012

The kids didn't get to dress up at school this year.  They passed out candy to the smaller kids.  The did have pajama day at school though.  When they got home from school we got dressed and headed out to Trick-or-Treat.

Grandparents Day At ACES

Today was Spencer & Haylee's Grandparents Day at school. Meme, Grandma Lowe & Papa John went to eat lunch with them.

Carving Pumpkins

It was a little chilly, but we made our way outside to carve pumpkins today.  The kids picked out their designs from a carving book.  Once we got outside they all decided they would just free hand their pumpkins.

Changing Colors

Spencer's team decided they didn't want to make up any of the games they missed, but one of the other teams was short tonight and they asked Spencer to play.  He was very excited to be able to play another night of Fall Ball.

Baseball is definitely his favorite sport.  He is already getting excited about baseball season next year.  I am so glad be decided to play Fall Ball!!!

Happy 10th Birthday Spencer Hayden

We took a road trip today due to he fact Morgan, Spencer & Haylee were on Fall Break.

Our first stop was the Kentucky Science Center. Morgan & Spencer had been a couple of years ago and loved it, so we decided to go back. They all had a good time.

Spencer wanted to walk down to The Louisville Museum. We took pictures in front of the big bat & went to the gift shop. Spencer got 2 small bats; Haylee got a shirt & I got a magnet.

On the way home we stopped at Golden Corral to eat. While we were there they announced Spencer's birthday on the speaker.

Bobby & I completed Day 2 of Couch 2 5K. Before I started my legs were SORE. I even tried to talk myself out of going, but knew I need to do this. I pushed myself & finished...on to Day 3 Friday. We will probably do week one again next week because it is pretty rough since we are so out of shape.

Spencer's request for supper was chicken casserole, macaroni/cheese & buttered/cheesy potatoes. After supper we had cupcakes.

It is hard to believe it has been 10 years since I first met this precious boy. He stole my heart from his first breath. He has always been a momma's boy & can continue to be for as long as he wants!!! He is an intelligent, smart, caring boy. He wears his heart on his sleeve (just like his momma). I am blessed to have a healthy, happy, rambunctious boy. He will ALWAYS be momma's little boy in my eyes.
