Painting Christmas Ornaments

We made our ornaments HERE.

Since all the kids are here this weekend we painted our ornaments. The kids did a great job painting.

Harley's Ornaments

Haylee's Ornaments

Spencer's Ornaments

Morgan's Ornaments

Gracie's Ornaments

All the ornaments drying

The ornaments are now hung on ribbon in the dining room.

Mom is coming up to spend the night tonight & watch the kids so we can attend Bobby's work Christmas party. Afterwards we have to finish Christmas shopping. I hope we are able to finish tonight. It has been stressful this year due to the fact I was off work 13 days without pay.

Christmas Countdown (Day 6)

Today Buddy & Snowflake found the syrup in the refrigerator.

When the kids got home from school they opened their Christmas Countdown activity for today....Make Christmas garland. I think Morgan & I made more garland then anyone else, but it turned out cute & is now hanging in our living room.

Countdown to Christmas (Day 5)

Today Buddy & Snowflake showed up in the cabinet under a glass. They were hiding good because no one found them until this afternoon after school.

Bobby requested homemade cheeseburgers & curly q's for supper. It is one of his favorite meals...so that's what we had for supper tonight.

After supper we made homemade got chocolate from a recipe I found on Pinterest, watched Home Alone on TV & enjoyed a calm night at home. This is my favorite time of the year.

Day 1's Activity was to:

We made some dough with flour, salt & water.  The kids loved rolling the dough out & using cookie cutter's to make their own ornaments.

Ornaments had to bake for 2 hours and then cool.  We will paint/decorate them next time all the kids are here!
