Morgan's 10th Birthday Party

The sun was shining & we thought it was going to be a beautiful day...boy were we WRONG!  We got the decorations all ready & were waiting for the guest to arrive...when it started thundering.  Thank goodness for my mom, who put the party together...from the decorations to the food.  If it hadn't been for her we might not have had a party.  I didn't even start thinking about a party until after Sunday was over because school & graduation.  My mom has pulled through the last couple of weeks...but I think she is partied out!  THANKS MOM for ALL you do!

And then the rain, thunder & lightening set in.  Everybody was scrambling trying to keep the food, presents, napkins & plates from blowing away.  Thanks to EVERYONE for all you help & for sticking around despite the nasty weather.




And then we opened presents in the pouring down rain.  Thanks to everyone for all the gifts/money!

The rain finally went away & the kids were able to play before we left.  They all went home wet & muddy, but they all had a BLAST!

We wanted Morgan's 10th Birthday to be memorable!  We wasn't expecting rain & storms, but we made the best of the situation.  This will definately be a birthday to remember!

Flashback Friday

Every Friday I am going to "try" to go back in time & do a "flashback" post.

Since this is Morgan's Birthday Weekend I am going to Flashback to one of her Birthday Parties.  I chose to flashback to Morgan's 7th Birthday Party, because it was her 1st sleep-over birthday party.  At the time we lived in a small two bedroom house and we had 11 girls spend the night.  They jumped on the trampoline, danced, sang & all played together very well.

WAY BEHIND!

I was really going to try to do better with the whole blog thing. I have been reading other people's, but haven't posted any.

Lots of things have happened since my last post! I will try to go back & catch up on all of these at some point & time. Nursing school doesn't leave me much time to blog, but I am going to try to do better. I would like to keep this updated so I can go back & put pictures with blog entries! Here are a few things that have happened & a few pictures. Enjoy until I can update in detail!
