Celebrating Delana's Birthday

We met At Shogun's in BG to celebrate Delana's Birthday a little late. The girls had never ate there and luckily the chef put on a great show.

Delana didn't know what to think...

Our food was wonderful there was just way to much as usual. We brought the leftovers home.

Delana was the only one of the girls who caught the shrimp in her mouth.

After we ate they came and sang Happy Birthday to Delana.  She wouldn't do the chicken dance without the other girls :)

Happy 16th Birthday Delana.
Hope it is a birthday you will NEVER forget!!!

Christmas 2011

Christmas morning didn't start out the way any of us had planned.  Morgan came running down the stairs at 3:30 am screaming "Momma".  Gracie was upstairs pucking (what a way to start Christmas morning).  I got up out of bed...still half asleep...went upstairs to find Gracie's supper in the bedroom floor.  I got it all cleaned up & all the girls were awake wanting to open Christmas gifts.  We went and woke Spencer  up...he was still sleepy & wanted to know what time it was...it was 3:45 in the morning.  He crawled out of bed & threw some clothes on.  They all settled in the living room to open presents.  The girls got I-pod touches & Spencer got a PS3.  They were all extremely happy with their presents.  Here are a few pictures.

Santa has been here....

He must have been a good boy this year :)

While they were opening presents I started feeling sick.  About 5:00 am I had to go take some medicine and go to bed.  I stayed in the bed until it was time to get the kids ready to go home.  They all started leaving about 7:00.   I ended up back in the bed until 11 when it was time to go to Bobby's parents.  We got Bobby's nieces presents & the look/excitment was priceless.  They are all older & to see them that excited was great :)

When we got back home I called work to see if they were going to put anyone on call tonight.  Thank goodness they were because there would have been NO way I could have made it through the night.  I took another phenergan and headed back to bed. I ended up taking 3 phenergan & sleeping most of Christmas away, but the smiles on the kids faces when they opened their gifts from Santa were PRICELESS!

I must have just had a 24 hour bug because I woke up this morning feeling much better :)

I hope everyone had a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Thanksgiving 2011

Here is where Buddy was this morning

We always have lots of places to go on the Holiday's.  First stop was Bobby's mom & dad's.  On the way there the van started to overheat.  It had overheated before, but we thought we had it fixed enough to hold up until after Christmas....not the case.  Here are some pictures from  his parents house.  Morgan & Spencer didn't get to go because they went to their daddy's grandmothers for lunch.

After eating lunch with Bobby's parents we headed to get Morgan & Spencer.  Our first stop was Grandma Lowe's & Papa John's.  The kids stayed outside playing the whole time we were there.  Our next stop was my dad & Cathy's.  Then we stopped at my Grandma Ruby's.  On the way back home we stopped to get the van from Bobby's mom & dad's.  We made it about halfway home & it started overheating again.  Bobby's dad came & brought us some tools & we finally made it home about nine pm.  I have so much to be Thankful for this year!  My child & I have been blessed more then I ever imagined & I am looking forward to the many more blessing to come in future :)

Decorating the Christmas Tree

After painting the girls nails we got all the Christmas ornaments out so we could decorate the tree. I put on the breakable ornaments & then the kids took turns putting on all the other ornaments. Here are some of the ornaments before they got put on the tree.

Each of the kids took turns picking out an ornament to put on the tree. We started with oldest & went to youngest.

Gracie

Each year my Grandma Lowe & Papa John let us pick out an ornament to personalize & take home to put on our tree.  Here are the ornaments the kids picked out this year.
