Busy as usual

I haven't had a chance to post the last couple of days. We had swimming lessons all week last week. Here are some of my favorite pictures...

Cohen's story

A PrOdUcTiVe day!

Yesterday was day 2 of swimming lessons. When we first got their they took both of the kids to the 12ft. water. I don't know who was more nervous...me or the kids...

They told them they were going to practice diving. Needless to say Morgan jumped right in.
Spencer on the other hand...had to think about it a little.

Then the lifeguard had to get him into the water to show him it was OK

Then he got back up & jumped right in...while I wasn't paying attention.

After he got used to it...HE LOVED IT! He was diving everytime I turned around.


After swimming lessons the kids went to Nanny & Pa's to play for the afternoon. Then we took a trip to the park to play a little & watch some ball practice.

I don't have pictures from swimming lessons today on my computer yet, but will try to get them on tomorrow & will post about what they did today with the pictures. After lessons today we came home & cleaned house. When we first got home Morgan was really into helping. She took out the trash, sorted laundry & helped me make tuna fish. Then she was finished & took off to her room to play. I got all my laundry caught up today & a lot accomplished on the house. It has been HOT all day & I have been lucky the kids didn't want to be outside.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Last week was the annual Southern Kentucky Classic in Burkesville...a whole week of men's softball! I went Monday & Tuesday night by myself because the kids were out visiting grandparents. They came home Wednesday after being gone for 6 days...we went to the movies & saw...

it was an AWESOME movie! Thursday night I took the kids to the Southern & they had fun playing with the other kids...



The kids were at their daddy's for the weekend so I went back to the Southern to watch some more softball.

This week they started swimming lessons...

Day of traveling & swimming

I didn't update last night but we spent all day yesterday traveling the roads. We went & visited grandparents. First stop was Grandma Lowe's & Papa John's. The kids were excited that their cherry tomatoes were in...I think they ate all of them. Please say a prayer for Papa John on Thursday as he has eye surgery in Louisville. Our next stop was Grandma Ruby's. It had been a while since we had visited her. Morgan's 1st stop when she got there was the baby doll. She always wants to take it home with her when she leaves =). After leaving there we went to get my "new" phone. I got this...


After being at Bluegrass for an hour & a half they finally got my e-mail working, but NO contacts transfered =( I am now trying to transfer over 200 contacts into my Tour (blah). We finally made it to the City pool for the night swim. The water was warm, but a breeze started blowing & Spencer & I got chily. When we got home the kids crashed...I guess a day of traveling & swimming wore them out! Sorry NO pictures...I left my camera at home =(

Nothing Exciting...

Nothing exciting happened at our house today....I cleaned house all day and the kids went to Nanny & Pa's. Just enjoying the days with NO PLANS!!! It is so nice NOT to have somewhere to be at a certain time. That's about all that is going on around our house. I am getting a new phone tomorrow...WOO HOO & taking the kids swimming tomorrow night. We will see what else we can get into tomorrow. Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL night =)

Father's Day 2010

The kids have been at their dad's all weekend & I have missed them like CRAZY! They all went to the Hot Rods game with my mom & step-dad today. Here are some of the pictures...

I am SO GLAD this is the 1st week of summer break that we have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING planned to do. I hope to spend lots of time with the kids this week. Thinking about going to see Toy Story 3 & maybe to the pool one day! I am going to try to keep this updated this time. I am going to put it on my to do list along with FB & maybe I will remember it better.

I have spent the last few days reading a blog on this site that has touched my heart in many ways. Please keep Cohen's family in your prayers. They have been through so much & continue to stay strong. You can find the families page by clicking on the prayer button on the left hand side of my blog.

WOW....I have been really bad about keeping this update

There is lots going on....

Nursing school is 100 times worse then I could have ever imagined!!!!! It is very stressful & time consuming...only 4 more weeks left this semester. If everything goes as planned I will graduate next May...WOO HOO!!!

Morgan is still in Girl Scouts. I have been the co-leader since August so that keeps me busy too. We are trying to involve the girls in more community activities. We participated in the Butterflies for Maddie kids run on Saturday. The girls enjoyed doing it & want to walk the 5K next year!

Baseball has officially started...I don't know where I will find time for it but I guess I should get prepared. The kids 1st ballgame is Tuesday night...GOOD LUCK YANKEE'S!!!

Well, I could go on forever, but I won't. I will try to keep this updated better!

March was a busy month for Girl Scouts. We had booth sales, a birthday swimming party @ the YMCA, donated birthday boxes to the local family resource & an ice skating sleepover.
