50's Day at School

Weekend Recap

The weather was beautiful on Saturday. It was in the 70's in south-central KY. I painted my toe nails & broke out the flip flops.

I even put my contacts in for the first time in 6 months!

Saturday the hubby & I enjoyed having nothing to do. We didn't even leave the house until after 2 pm. We went into town & walked around at the local flea market & browsed the Harley Davidson store. We stopped and rented some movies on the way home. The hubby got Red Dawn & The Flight. I got Pitch Perfect & Playing for Keeps. I ended up falling asleep before I got to watch my movies, but I got up Sunday morning and watched Pitch Perfect before we took it back.

Sunday we picked the kids up from their daddy's after lunch. Spencer was supposed to have ball practice but before we got back to BG it was raining. We stopped and visited with my dad. He is getting around better & the doctor released him to start driving. He is going to try to go back to work for a couple of hours a day in a couple of weeks.

When we got home we finished a DIY project we have been working on for a few days. I love the way they turned out & are very convenient for everyone to be able to grab their toothbrush/toothpaste without them sitting all over the counter.

Finally Friday

It's finally Friday. Spencer had ball practice this afternoon. While he was practicing Morgan drew & practiced her back bends. Bobby & I went to the running store at the park and I tried on some shoes. I found some that were really comfortable & light weight. I will be getting a new pair soon so I can get back into running. After ball practice the kids went to spend the weekend with their daddy. We went and visited Bobby's dad and had supper in town before heading home. It's been a great day & looking forward to a great weekend.

Bloglovin'

I have started using Bloglovin' due to the fact Google Reader will be shutting down this year.  Please be patient with me as I transition.  I am also in the process of updating my blog & playing catch up.  Life has been crazy, busy...but I have a lot of post on my phone that need to be uploaded & edited.  Watch for new post soon!  Thanks to all my readers/followers who have stuck around even when I fail to blog often.  I am going to try to do better.

Haylee's 1st Gymnastic's Class

The girls needed some "Bobby" attention before gymnastic's tonight.  You can't get a good picture without one of them making faces!

Picture Day & Batting Practice

Today the kids had Spring Pictures.  Morgan loved her hair curled this morning.

Spencer didn't want his picture taken so he was acting silly.

After school Spencer had batting practice in the cages. 

Morgan decided she wanted her hair curled again before she went to bed.  She had my phone playing with it and this is what I found on it.

Picture Day Tomorrow

Morgan wanted her hair curled for pictures tomorrow.

Morgan found some balloons at the park today while Spencer was practicing baseball.

Warmer Weather

Today we cleaned out mom's building and did some re-arranging.

While we were cleaning I found this picture from 1992.  My first year playing softball.

After we got finished we took the kids to the park.  I ran.  Spencer & Bobby hit ball.  The girls played on the playground.

Afterwards everyone played a game of basketball with some kids that were at the park.

We enjoyed the beautiful day and are all looking forward to spring/summer!!!!

No School, Shots, Baseball & Shopping

Today the kids were out of school for PD day.  Morgan had to go get her last shot.  She did GREAT!! She sat by herself and took her shot without tears!!  After she got finished she wanted to go see Leo.  So we headed toward Breeding.  On the way we got behind a tractor.  She said it was good to be back in the country because you didn't see tractors on the road in BG.

Morgan & Haylee played with the dogs while I visited with Heather.  The weather was beautiful and they had a great time.  We stayed for a few hours and they didn't want to leave.

When we got ready to leave....this is what I found in my van.  Morgan had put him in there and was trying to sneak him back with us.  He didn't want to get out :(

We stopped and picked up the other kids on the way home.  They went straight outside to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Spencer had ball practice so we headed to the park.  The girls played while Spencer practiced.

After eating supper we took Harley to spend her birthday money.  She ended up getting a PS3 game, North Face sweatshirt, Under Armour long sleeve shirt, knee socks, flip flops, backpack and she even bought all the kids a sucker.

After we left Haylee started practicing at home and wants to start taking gymnastics too.

Visiting, Snow & Awards

Today I spent the day with Aunt Linda while the kids were are school and Bobby was at work.  After school Morgan wanted to go see Leo.  It was raining/snowing and rather nasty outside, but she insisted on going to see him.  He was excited to see us.  His head is looking so much better!

The kids had Reading Night at school and Spencer received an award for being in the top five in the whole fourth grade for AR points.
