I have been working more than I really want to, but we are on mandatory overtime right now & I'm not complaining because I sure can use the extra money for Christmas gifts. So I guess it all works out in the long run. Last week I worked six nights in a roll & I was ExHaUsTeD by the time I was finished. Night shift stinks because my schedule is different from everyone else in my life. When they are sleeping I am working & when I am sleeping they are at work/school. After six days straight I had two days off and I was extremely LaZy! I did manage to get the kids Christmas gifts wrapped & put under the tree, the stocking hung, the house cleaned & the loads (12 to be exact) of laundry washed, dried, folded & put away...so I wasn't extremely lazy. We did manage to watch 4 movies in between all the cleaning & laundry. All the kids were gone so we sat at home & relaxed.
I wanted to get all our stockings monogrammed this year, but I didn't get time to get it done. I have found some really cute personalized stockings on Pinterest. Next year we will have new, personalized stockings :)
Speaking of Pinterest. I have found lots of cute ideas that I want to do. When I find time to get them done I will blog about them :)
Buddy has been on the move lately. We will all be sad to see Buddy leave next week. He will return to the North Pole Christmas Eve night. We hope Buddy comes back next year, because he has become part of our family. It is always exciting seeing the kids look for him each morning. Here are some of the spots Buddy has showed up lately.
Morgan & Spencer both had their first basketball games this week I had to work...so I missed them :( They got their uniforms before their games & I haven't got to see them yet, but I will be posting pictures soon of them. Hopefully next week I will have some pictures of their games to post also.
Christmas is always a busy time of year for us & this year we have even more traveling to do. We start Christmas celebrations this weekend. Let the FUN begin :)
My van wasn't fixed after all. We went to pick it up & didn't even make it home with it. I was discouraged, aggravated & upset for awhile. Like always though everything will work out. I am not stressing about it....Thank goodness for my mom. She is letting me use her vehicle for a while. After Christmas I will worry about my van. The only bad thing about it is I am still having to make a payment on it :( It made me sick to have to give the bank a payment for something I can't even drive, but it will all work out.
Today is my first day off after a three night stretch. I am excited to see all the kids this afternoon. Guess I better get a couple hours sleep before they come home full of energy.
I will try not to put my blog on the back burner again. There will be lots of Christmas celebrations, basketball games & where's Buddy post coming soon. Stay tuned :)
