What a week it has been. Tuesday I found out that I hadn't passed my NCLEX. At first I was really upset & disgusted, but I realized I have had a lot on my plate so "it is what it is". Now I have to wait forty-five days & retake it. As soon as we get settled I have to get my head back in a book and start studying again. Enough on NCLEX.
Tuesday I also started moving a few things. I didn't realize how much crap I had until I started packing & moving.
Wednesday we got all the big stuff moved it was late by the time we got everything loaded & to the new house. We ended up leaving all the stuff on the truck & trailer. We were wore out...it was extremely hot & we were miserable. We went to take a shower & there was no hot water at the new house. After taking a cold shower we got the air mattress out to sleep on.
Thursday we got all the big stuff unloaded & set up. We got a lot of the little stuff unpacked & put away.
Friday I was home alone in this big house. I spent the day cleaning & getting stuff put away. Friday night mom came up & we went to the old house to get another load of little stuff. By the time we got home I was exhausted.
Saturday we got up & headed back to the old house to finished getting the rest of the stuff. We ended up making two trips & got everything that we could. By the second load I was so over moving that I was done. I came home & we went to try to find a couch. We didn't have any luck so we are still without living room furniture.
Sunday we headed to BG to get some things from moms & the came home to finished getting stuff settled.
Monday it was time to head back to work. I will be doing tech duties until I pass my NCLEX. I was nervous because they sent me to a different floor. It ended up being a really good night. All the people on the floor were very helpful & friendly. I did miss the girls from my regular floor though.
Tuesday & Wednesday night it was back to work. By the time wednesday night got here I was ready for my work week to be over. When I was living by myself I didn't mind working nights to bad. Now that I have a little (or should I say big) family working nights stinks. One or two nights isn't bad but that third night stinks. I have missed the crap out of the kids. I am fixing to go get them off the bus. I am so ready to see them. Right now we don't have Internet at the house so blogging may be limited for a few weeks. Life us great & I'm loving all the "NEW" beginnings. Pictures of the new house to come soon. Everyone is adjusted wonderfully & loving everything about the move.
