It's officially official that I'm engaged. :) It was so sweet how he gave me my ring. When the Morgan & Spencer came in from school this afternoon I was in the bathroom cleaning. They came in the bathroom with my ring and asked me if Bobby could be their step-dad. It melted my heart. My dreams are coming true :) I finally found someone who loves my kids as much as I do and they love him too. :) My ring was WAY too big, so we had to take it to get it sized. While we were there we went ahead and bought our wedding bands so mine could be sized. Bobby's didn't have to be sized so we already have his. (Sorry no pictures of my wedding band...will post when I get it back)

I had picked out my ring a few weeks ago, but then Bobby got sick and was off work for a few weeks. We had already set a date and started looking at wedding ideas. At first Bobby wasn't into the planning, but as the days/weeks get closer he has been throwing ideas out too. I want everyone to be involved as much as possible.
Today when I got off work I went to Hobby Lobby and bought the invitations. We are trying to do as much as we can ourselves to make it more personal and less expensive.
Pinterest has helped a lot...It all started with the cake I found on there. I fell in love with it immediately back before Christmas and everything else has revolved around the cake.

The dresses have been picked...now to just get them ordered. I have to get everyone measure and get them ordered soon to make sure the fit.

Instead of the traditional guest book, we are going to do a tree on canvas. All the guest will put their thumb prints on the tree to make leaves and write their names. This will be hung in our living room after the wedding. What a great way to display our special day!
