An Adventurous Day

Today we decided to get out of the house for a while. The kids & I have been cooped up in the house since Wednesday besides a few trips to town. We had planned on taking the girls to the lake to swim today, but it was a little chilly to be in the water. So we decided to take a little road trip.

We headed out to Cumberland Falls. None of us had ever been except Morgan so we thought it would be a cheap, adventurous place to go. When you have a houseful of kids you have to think of the expense of going anywhere. We packed a cooler of drinks and headed out. We took back roads on the trip there so we could do some sightseeing. The girls got bored pretty quick and started asking "How much longer"? Then the fighting and arguing came soon after. They would do good for about 20-30 miles then they would have a moment...  After we got there they were all content & amazed at The Falls.
