Geocaching

A lot of people have been talking about going Geo-caching  so I decided to Google it to see what it was all about.  It sounded pretty neat.  I downloaded the app to my I-phone.

We decided to try it out one day on the way to town to see what we could find. It was cold & wet from all the rain we have had in KY, but we were able to find three.  We stopped at several other ones, but were unable to locate the actual cache.  When it dries up we are going to go back & try again.  The girls loved it & it will be a great way to spend some time this summer without costing a lot of money.

There are several different things you can find.  Some just have a log to sign while others have items in them.  If you take an item you are supposed to leave an item of equal value. 

We will definitely be taking the kids to find many more.  We just wanted to see what it was all about.  They are hidden all over the world.  HERE is the website if you would like more information.
