Trying to Keep Everyone Well

This morning Bobby's blood pressure was very high.  It has been high for a few days, but I was giving him the benefit of the doubt & trying to let it come down on it's own.  He has always had nigh blood pressure and started back on his medication about this time last year.  He took it for several months, but when his refills were out he wouldn't go back to the doctor.  I have kept a check on it  and it was staying pretty low.  Everyone has really been on his back to go get back on his pills, especially after his daddy had two strokes in September.  He is a little stubborn and doesn't like going to the doctor, so I had let him slide.  The last two days his head has been hurting him, his nose bleeding & his forehead blood red.  This morning when I checked it I told him he was going to the doctor and getting back on his medicine.  When we got to the doctor his blood pressure was 168/102 and his heart rate was 107.  The immediately brought him a blood pressure pill in the lower it and we waited to see the doctor.  They told us they were putting him back on the medicine he was on last and told us to keep a check on it.  We went to get his medicine filled and when we got home I realized it wasn't the same medicine he had been on before.  He didn't feel good.  He was weak, dizzy and very fatigue.  I told him we would give it a few days and see how it was working before we called the doctor to see if we needed to switch it.

I went and got my taxes filed today.  I didn't do near as well as I did last year, but at least I didn't have to pay any money in.

After the kids got out of school we went to visit Grand-daddy.  Bobby let me drive because he didn't feel like it.  I knew he didn't feel well when he let me drive.  He ended up sleeping the whole way.

Morgan & Spencer hadn't seen Grand-daddy since he fell.  They didn't want to go to the hospital and see him, so I told them I would take them when he came home.  The kids had fun playing in the wheelchair while we were there.

Daddy is getting around really well for all he has been through.  He is still in some pain and has a long way to go before he is back to everyday activities  but he was doing better than I had expected.  He walked to the kitchen, with his walker, two times while we were there.  His leg is still swollen, but his incisions look good.

On the way home we stopped and got a crave case of White Castle's for supper.

We have got severe weather heading our way.  It is supposed to be here between 5 and 7 am.  Hopefully we will get some sleep before it starts.
