Shepard's Pie Recipe

The kids love Shepard's Pie.  I don't fix it a whole lot, but they happen to ask for it tonight.  I thought I would post the recipe for anyone interested.  It is a quick meal for nights you don't feel like slaving in the kitchen for hours.



What you will need:

Hamburger Meat
Potatoes
Milk
Butter
Shredded Cheese


Preheat oven to 400.  Peel potatoes & boil until soft.   While your potatoes are boiling brown your hamburger meat in a skillet.

Drain your hamburger meat & place it in the bottom of a baking dish.  After your potatoes finish boiling.  Drain them & fix them as mashed potatoes.

Place a thin layer of shredded cheese over the hamburger meat.

Layer the mashed potatoes on top of the hamburger meat & cheese.

Add a layer of cheese.  My family likes cheese so I placed a thick layer on top.

Place in the oven and bake until cheese is melted (about 10 mins.)

Cut into square & ENJOY!
