Flashback Friday

Since today is the LAST day of school for the kids I am going to Flashback to 2007.  In May 2007, Morgan graduated from Kindergarten & Spencer graduated from Preschool (the 1st time).  It is hard to believe this was only 4 years ago.

Today was a day of mixed emotions for me.  I am EXCITED that this was the LAST day of school for the kids, because I am ready to enjoy the summer with them.  I am SAD because this means another school year is over & when they start back to school next year I will have a 5th grader & a 3rd grader :(  They are growing up WAY to fast!


Today I went to school & spent the day with the kids.  I enjoy being able to always go the first day & last day of school.  I plan to continue to do this until the kids don't want me there anymore.  I have always enjoyed being at school with the kids, before Nursing School I used to volunteer at the school at least one day a week.  I am hoping next year I will be able to start doing this again.  Here are a few pictures from today.

We are all ready to for summer break....we plan on doing lots of things this summer....Science Museum, SomerSplash, Louisville Zoo, Myrtle Beach, Swimming Lessons, Baseball, Hot Rods Baseball...and many days at the pool...plus sometime in all the madness I have to take my state boards & look for a job!  SUMMER 2011 HERE WE COME!  Everyone have a SAFE & HAPPY Memorial Day Weekend & PLEASE remember the reason we celebrate the holiday.  Thank you to everyone for serving our country...past & present!
