I never thought this day would come. I am graduating college on Saturday! Oh me, oh my! I can't believe it. This has been a LONG, HARD road...and this is something NO ONE can ever take away from me. There have been so many people who have stood behind me & made this possible for me to succeed.
I really don't think the reality of it has set it. I have been very excited today...but I don't think it will even compare to the excitement I will feel Saturday when I get officially pinned & walk the line at graduation.
My kids were so excited! I don't think they believed that this is OVER! Spencer asked me several times if that meant "NO more studying & NO more test". It was funny. Morgan jumped up & down for 20 minutes & hugged me over & over.
It felt really weird to come home & not to have to open a book. I really didn't know what to do with myself. I finally asked Spencer if he wanted to go to the park & play. Morgan was at dance so we headed to the park & he got to play on the playground.
This week is going to be busy & hectic....but I will take it! We have three days of NCLEX review course, HESI exit exam (retake), pinning practice, pinning & graduation still to come. Then on Sunday Mom is having an graduation reception/open house for family & friends.
Thank you to EVERYONE for your thoughts, prayers, support & encouragement through this whole process. I couldn't have done it without each & everyone of you. I am a VERY BLESSED person!
Here is my official nursing picture that will now be on the "Wall of Fame" at Glasgow campus.
