By this time I was starving.  We planned on going to Subway & grabbing lunch in between the ceremonies, but they were not open.  We ended up eating in the cafeteria at DUC.

I decided a couple of months ago I wanted to walk the line at WKU graduation.  Here is the group from the Nursing Program that decided to walk.



They recognized all the single parents who were graduating.  This is the first time mom actually found me to start getting some pictures.

I was glad I decided to walk the line.  The morning pinning was more personal for me & a time to reflect on the last two years of my life with my fellow classmates.  The commencement was laid back and a fun celebration time.

After taking a few pictures we went out to eat.  We had planned to go to O'Charley's (which is my favorite place to eat), but there was a two hour wait.  We decided to go to Logan's.

After getting home & getting settled, Laura & I hung out for a couple of hours.  We had a BLAST!  It had been a long time since I had been out.  It was a much needed celebration for both of us.  We will definitely be hanging out more in the future.  (Sorry I didn't take my camera...so no pictures)
